About the Journal

The Multidisciplinary Journal of Distance Education Studies (MJDES) is an international publication of the Department of Distance Education, University of Ghana. MJDES is an online peer-reviewed publication that draws on scholarly works from multiple disciplines to promote and encourage studies on distance education, especially in relation to open learning, flexible learning, electronic learning, and related areas. While diverse in its methodological approaches, the bi-annual journal focuses on original scholarly works in educational research and practice across the globe, and publications are done.

All papers published in MJDES undergo double-blind peer review and are reviewed by members of the Editorial Board with expertise in the area(s) represented by a paper, and/or invited reviewers with special competence in the area(s) covered. The Editors reserve the right to make minor alterations to papers that are accepted for publication. All publications are made in English language.
